Our dentist will begin by carefully examining the teeth and jaw of your child. During the check-up, our dentist will look for any cavities, injuries, and developmental problems that may be impacting the teeth or jaw. Furthermore, our dentist will thoroughly clean your child’s teeth and offer advice on how to properly care for their dental health everyday.


Feel free to discuss your worries about your child’s teething, thumb-sucking, or other common, childhood dental behviours with our experienced dentists.

We recommend speaking to your child about what will take place at their dental visit and helping them develop a positive attitude towards it. Parents may also read books or view videos explaining their child’s first dental visit.

Additional tips include:

  • Avoid booking appointments during your child’s nap time
  • Prior to your child’s visit, have them eat a light meal and brush their teeth afterwards
  • If your child becomes distressed during the appointment, work with our dentist to help calm them down
